Quick Gift For Under A Buck!

This is what I made for the ladies at the office and for my daughters teacher. The are simply votive candles with rub ons.

I was at Micheals looking for individual glass votive holders which were nearly $1 a piece. Then I picked up the votive candles which were around .40 a piece. So I have already spent roughly $1.50 once you include tax and I still needed to buy the rub ons. Just as I was leaving the candle aisle I spotted something! A box of 12 glass votive holders with candles for $8.00 which actually only cost me $4.80 after my 40% coupon. I bought a couple different packs of Christmas rub ons for around $1 - $1.50 each and was able to make at least 2 candles with each pack. Put them in a cello back with some ribbon and a tag and there you have a nice, quick and affordable gift.

Christmas Class Treats

I decided I wanted to do something different for the class treat this year. I really wasn't up for paper crafting, so I pulled out the plastic canvas and shipped up these kissing reindeer. They are super easy to make, but a bit time consuming. I should have known better and not waited until just a few days before I needed them to get started on them. I was up late into the night, but I got them done and to my surprise they kids loved them. They had so much fun playing with them, clipping them on their hair and clothes, making them talk. It was great!

You squeeze their cheeks and they give you a kiss.

I had picked these cute stacking jelly candy sticks and added a little stamped tag to them.

I decided not to make Christmas cards this year and felt guilty for not getting use out of any Christmas stamps, so I stamped the tags.

Christmas Can

I have made a few of these in the past and they are always fun to do, not to mention VERY quick and simple. I made this to hold my gift for the office party.

You start with an empty paint can that you can purchase at most builder stores like Home Depot and Lowes. I wrapped it in 2 12x12 pieces of paper that are cut down to fit the height of the can. A white strip of white cardstock, cut with scalloped scissors to give it a ruffle effect for the trim on the enter of the coat. 2 pieces of black card stock to go around the can for the belt and cut out square for the belt buckle. You can buy a small feather boa from most craft stores and probably fabric stores. I cut 2 pieces to size and glued them around the top and bottom for fur trim on the coat. I never know what to put on the lid so I just cut a circle and put some white letter rub on's on it. The handle is carefully removed and covered with pony beads (or you can tie a bunch of ribbons around it). And that's it!! I use double sided tape when attaching paper to the can and glue when attaching paper to paper.

"Hoppy" Valentines Day!

I am just thrilled with the way this years Valentine treats turned out for my daughter’s class. I can not take credit for design however. Let me tell you the whole story about these treats.

It started in January of 2009 when I picked up the froggy cello bags from the dollar spot at Target. I had nothing special planned for them, just put some candies in them and add a little V-day bag topper and send them to school for V-day treats. Well for some reason I decided not to use them (or perhaps by the time I got around to doing the treats I had forgotten about the bags I had bought a month earlier). Whatever the case, they were still in my cabinet a year later and I had not given them a second thought. That is until I was scanning my blog line feeds one day and came across a project that not only used the very same frog baggies, but had made a matching bag topper that was so irresistibly cute that I had to lift the idea.

There was just one ~~small~~ tiny problem. I didn’t know what size punches she used to make the frog and I don’t have punches in various sizes, so I had a hard time gauging the size of Mr. Frog. Thankfully, there were only 3 different shapes used to make the frog (circle, oval, flower), all of which my Cricut can cut. The problem is that my Cricut only cuts the 3 basic shapes from 1 to 5.5 inches. After cutting a circle for his pupil at 1” it was obvious that it was going to be too big. So I had to be a little more creative. I had the right punch to make the ovals which were for his mouth and legs so really it was just the 4 different size circles that were going to give me trouble since I only had a circle punch that would be the right size for the one on his belly.

To make the other 3 circle sizes I used the In My Garden cartridge. If you have that one you will see that the flowers on the top row of the key pad have various size circles for the inside of the flowers. Since the actual flower would cut at 1”, the inside will cut smaller of course. So I played around with the different circles and different sizes and was able to come up with the right size for the remaining 3 circles. Brilliant I must say!! (and also a little bit of a pain in the arse as well.)

The toes for the frog were also cut from one of the flowers on the same cartridge. This wasn’t too difficult to figure out because I had seem people use flower punches to make toes several times before. It was just a matter of looking at the different flowers on the cart. to see which petals made the best toes. I was able to cut both sets of toes from 1 flower.

So, I got the shapes figured out and the frog put together to closely match the example I had. I used some pop dots for the body/mouth for a little dimension. I cut a the hart with my Cricut as well and stamped some little swirley things on the cardstock with a retired SU background stamp. The “Hoppy Valentines Day” was printed on a clear label because I didn’t feel like fussing with trying to print it on the cardstock. All that was left was to fill the bags with some heart shaped candy. I went to Wal-Mart in search of some hearts and while looking in the V-day aisle I saw some cut pink animal marshmallows. I think they were cats, but that doesn’t really matter. Behind those were some blue ones that may or may not have been puppies. Again, doesn’t matter. What does matter is that behind those I found the green frogs!!! How perfect do these frog marshmallows match the whole packaging I just made for the treats?!?! I was amazed at my luck. So I snatched up several of the 3 pack marshmallow frogs and a bag of chocolate heart candy because I new there was going to have to be something else in the bag with the frogs, or the frogs would have be lost in the cello bags.

While assembling the treats I was a little disappointed to discover that a green frog printed on the cello bags was in just the right spot to cover up much of the little candy frog. I wanted the candy frogs to be clearly visible in the bags, so I did the best I could and placed a piece of white cardstock in the bag and used double sided tape to stick the heart to it and placed the frog along side the heart. This allowed for the frog to be moved over enough so that the frog on the bag was not “toad”ally (get it?) covering the candy frog.

I folded the bags up tight and small so that the frog wouldn’t have a lot of room to move during transport and used some green staples to attach the bag topper. On the back of the topper my daughter wrote each child’s name along with her own.

Witch Shoes

The witches shoe is another tutorial I found online with a pattern. Another project I expected to be a lot more difficult that it was. It is just cut 2 pieces, the inside liner and outside. The only difficult part of this project was getting the liner to match up right once you folded the shoe up. I think the liner pattern might have been a little off. I could never seem to cut it to fit just right. There would always be some black showing with the pieces came together. Not the end of the world, but a bit frustrating. I wish I could have thought of more creative ways to decorate the outside of the shoe, but anything I tried putting on it just looked wrong. I placed a bag of home made Halloween mix in each shoe and these were given to my co workers. The Happy Halloween and Witch Hat stamp on the baggie tag were from the Halloween set mentioned in my previous post.

Spooky Spider

A quick card I made to go with some Halloween treats for my niece and nephew. I don’t know how well you can see it, but I used black stickles on the web. I really love using stickles and really need to start using them more on my cards. And I am proud to say that I used stamps that have been sitting around for a while and had not been used before. The stamp was $1 from Michaels that I picked up last year just because it was 25% off and surely I would need a spider in a web stamp at some point in my life, right? And who can pass up a .75 cent stamp? The Trick or Treat stamp came in a kit that I had bought on clearance probably 3 years ago and believe I actually used this one other time before.

Pumpkin Baskets

I had seen these on a craft blog with a little tutorial and thought they were so cute. I was worried they would be very time consuming and as usual, I waited until the near last minute to start working on them. The tutorial actually had you making them a bit bigger than what I did them. I only wanted to put a little bag of candy in them so I cut down on the height of the pumpkin. Surprisingly they did not take as long as I thought. I still ended up having to work on them well into the night to get them done, but it gave me something to do and reason to be crafty.

Birthday Card

This birthday card was made for a friend. I had seen some really cute cards lately using the postage stamp template and it occurred to me that I have that template. It doesn’t have the current postage amount on it, but so what? I want to make some more cards with the postage template so I will see if I can fix that.

The cupcake stamps are again something I am using from my stash for the first time. These are from the clear $1 stamp packs from Michaels. The Happy Birthday is a SU stamp that most certainly has been used many, many times. It is such a great size to fill up an empty spot on a card. I embossed the dots on the card with my Cuttlebug (something else that does not get used as often as it should). I used SU chalks for a little color around the cupcakes. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Birthday Treats

I made these for my daughters class for her birthday treat. I wrapped Reese's PB Cups with pattern paper and crimped the ends. I wrapped a thin strip of solid cardstock around the middle and topped it with a scalloped circle. The cupcake stamp is one from Michael's dollar spot colored with pencils.

Mini pinatas that I made for her Build A Bear party using the new SU Build A Bear stamps.

Cupcake toppers also made for the Build A Bear Party using the SU Build A Bear stamps. I cut them out and glued them to a toothpick.

Thank You Treats

This is the last week for summer camp for my daughter. I made the ever popular scalloped sandwiches for all of the staff. I am not exactly sure how many workers there are but I made 80 of them which I am sure was plenty. Very cheap thank you gift. I bought 2 bags of chocolate mints at the dollar store along with the basket. I weaved some ribbon that I had through it to cover up leaves that were painted on it. And of course I had the paper, stamps, inks and markers. I printed a thank you note off the computer, cut it with deco scissors and tied it to the basket with ribbon. We took them in this morning and they were a big hit.

Out Of The Box

I made this for a friend's birthday (I am sure she has gotten it by now so it should be safe to post this). This is kind of an out of the box for me. I don't tend to use these colors very often because I never feel like what I do with them works well. If that makes any sense.

I used some Not Quite Navy(SU) and Bravo Burgundy(SU) with some light cream color cardstock. I sponged around the cream with Close To Cocoa (SU) along with stamping the sentiment. I used burgundy ribbon and round button as well as a green heart button. I can not remember who the papers are by, but I had bought them long ago at Hobby Lobby. I used a black marker to make dots around the circles.

I Created Something Today

I actually took a couple hours in my craft room today and made these 2 cards that I have been wanting to make for a long time now. These cards were based on designs I saw from Dawn G (sorry I can not remember the last name).

3D card made with the SU scallop punch for the body of the lady bug. 1 inch circle punch for the head. Regular hole punch for the antenna. Pencil eraser and black ink for the dots. The stamped Hello and Friend are from the Michaels $1 bin.

Here is a different view to show the bugs body better.

I love how this card turned out. Again I used the SU scallop punch for the faces. All the black mouths are cut from 1 1/4" circle punches. The white eyes and Elmo's nose are maybe 1/2 inch circles?? I used a flower center from the Walk in my Garden cricut cart set at 1 1/2" I think. The black of the eyes are a regular hole punch. Cookie is also the center of the flower at 2" and cut with a scallop scissor for a 'bite'. Birds nose and Oscars eyebrows were free hand cut. Oscars tongue is the tip of the SU window punch. I think the stamped words are from an SU set called Happy Everything.

Softball Treats

These are the gifts given out to my daughters softball team tonight. Sorry for the bad color on the pictures. I forgot to put the flash on.

2x2 cards using the team colors of Navy and Pink. The girls play with yellow softballs (not white like I played with back in the day). The CCC stands for Capstone Construction Company which is the Coach's company and our team sponsor. These were for the girls and on the inside it says, "I had a ball playing with you!" and my daughter signed them.

These are bag tags for the girls to put on their equipment bags (if they want). I stamped and colored the bunny and sponged the sky and grass. I added all the girls names on them and included a small black zip tie for them to attach it with.

Very simple treat. I sandwiched the top of the pixie stix between two black scallop punches and added the punched circles which I added the 'stitches' to with a red marker. These were also for the girls.

The items above and 2 pieces of bubble gum were packaged in clear envelopes for each girl.

Cards for the coaches and assistant coaches/helpers similar to the mini ones I made for the girls. After taking the picture I added CCC to the top right corner of the pink cardstock. I wish I had used a bigger 'thank you' stamp. Cameron wrote a personal thank you note in each one. I made 5 in all.

This was the gift for the coach and assistant coaches/helpers. I probably should have taken a picture before wrapping them. It's a large plastic popcorn bucket with yellow crinkled paper filler in the bottom, 2 boxes of movie candy, 1 bag of micro popcorn, 2 suckers, 1 bottle Diet Coke, 1 bottle Sprite, a gift card for Blockbuster and the card above.

Sewing Project

I haven't been doing much scrapping and stamping, but I did pull my sewing machine out a couple weeks ago and tried my hand at a few things. I don't get a lunch at work, but I have an hour between work and picking up my daughter from school so I eat lunch between the 2 places. I had been looking for a cute lunch bag. The only ones I liked were all more than I wanted to pay for a little lunch bag. So I made this round drawstring bag. The four outside fabrics came from Wal Mart. The inside is lined with a waterproof material called PUL. I probably have about $3.00 of materials in it. It did take a while to make, but after making one, I am sure I could do another in a couple of hours.

I have a water bottle carrier that I made for my daughter and some reusable snack bags that I will snap some pictures of pretty soon.

Easter Cards

I had intended to make many more cards this past Easter, but I waited until the last minute and was only able to make a few. All of the stamped images used on the following cards were $1 stamps from Michaels. Also used were Prima and Bazzill flowers, pattern paper from DCWV, SU cardstock and a little bit of white stickles.

This was a project I did for a Christmas gift for my Grandmother. I printed B&W photos of all her great grandchildren and Mod Podge them onto wooden blocks my hubby cut for me. I had painted the blocks black first and then sanded the edges. I made stencils for the Angel letters with my cricut machine and sponge painted them onto the blocks. The wording on the bottom flat piece of wood are rub on letters. I hot glued it all together along with adding some Prima flowers to the front.

I made snowman soup packets for my daughters 1st grade class. I printed the poem on light blue cardstock. I cut the snowman using my cricut. The packets contain instant hot chocolate, 2 Hershey kisses, candy cane and mini marshmallows. It is all sealed up in a clear envelope (like the ones Stampin Up sells).

Ornaments

These are glass round ornaments with coordinating Chirstmas paper rolled up and dropped inside where it unrolls a bit. I used some cheap brand of rub ons on the outside that were a pain in the butt to work with. I just added a hook and tied a bow. These were made for the ladies I work with.

I put them in plastic bags used for like chocolate candy suckers you make. Tied some ribbon and added this stamped tag. I bought the stamp on clearance last year at Hobby Lobby. It has 3 stamps in it and I think I paid .60 for it. I cut it out and matted it on a round piece of green cardstock and added a jump ring to attach it to the ribbon.

I bought a kit (also on clearance, only I bought it 2 years ago) to make several different felt ornaments. I got 2 of them made this year. Maybe I will start in January to get the rest of them done for next Christmas.

This birthday card is much cuter in person. My flash really washed out the color on it.

The card looks big, but it is only 3 1/4 X 5 1/4. The duck and scallop are on pop dots.

I have only used this stamp twice now, and both times I have done it in blues and greens. I don't know why those are the colors that come to me with this image.

Halloween Treats

I made these spiders for my daughters class. They are made with the SU scallop circle punch and SU photo corner punch (Thanks again Dawn!). The white of the eyes I cut with my cricut, the black pupil and red nose were done with a hole punch. A chocolate candy disk is sandwiched in the middle of the body.

I put them in small clear envelopes and added a bag topper that I stamped.

These "Frankies" are wrapped around a full size Hershey bar. I made these wrappers last year for the small candy bars for my daughters class. These I made for the ladies at work. I used my cricut to cut the eye pieces and nose. The hair was cut with decorative scissors.

I made 2x2 cards to go with the candy bars. I have 2x2 clear envelopes that they fit in.

Handmade Edible

This is not scrap related, but it is something I made. I ordered a 24 piece cupcake cake from Wal-Mart. Using a chocolate candy mold I made the bowling pins and balls with white and milk chocolate (they are 2 separate pieces) and stuck them in the cupcakes. The red lines on the pin were made by adding red food coloring to some corn syrup and painting them on the pin. Then we sprinkled red decorating sugar over the corn syrup (thought up by my husband). The Happy Birthday are candles and we had a number 6 candle as well. I think they turned out great!

5 Day Challenge - Day 5 (finally)

After finishing the goodie bags on day 4 of the 5 day challenge, I have not been back in my craft room until today. So I am going to cheat and post this as my day 5 challenge. It just took more than 5 days to complete the challenge.

These are the thank you cards we are mailing to the birthday guests from my daughters party last weekend. I cut a black 4.5" circle with my Cricut machine in the blackout feature. I also cut a regular 4.5" circle in white and computer printed text on them:

I had my daughter write in the name and gift and sign her name on the bottom. Then I glued them to the black circles. I glued 1" silhouette circles in gray on the front for the bowling ball holes. I am mailing them in a CD envelopes (shown above, ready to mail) with the ball showing through the front window and I addressed the envelope on the back.

5 Day Challenge - Day 4

Here is what I have been working on this evening. These will be the treat bags my daughter will give to her birthday guests at her bowling party this weekend. You see it is a bowling ball, right?

I used small black paper bags that I cut down a little bit. Using my cricut I cut 5 inch circles out of black cardstock and cut them off at the bottom so the bag sat flat. The 'holes' are 1 inch circles that were also cut with the cricut with the silhouette feature. The handle is a 1" x 11" strip of black cardstock.

The bags will hold Hello Kitty treats and candy for the girls and Spider-Man treats and candy for the boys.

5 Day Challenge - Day 3

Well I didn't get to my craft room yesterday for day 3, but it wasn't because I was lazy and/or unmotivated. I was feeling crappy and decided to do a total clean up/out/organization of my daughters room and it literally took all day (mostly because I was moving so slow from lack of feel good energy). I still plan to do 5 days of projects, it's just going to take 6 days to do them.

Today my project was pretty simple, but I have been non stop going from 6:30am until right now (at 9:30pm). It's my daughters 6th birthday today and I only had time today to decorate a gift bag for one of her gifts. I thought I had some white paper bags, but I didn't so I had to use a brown one. I cut the cupcake and letters with my cricut and added some stickles baby blue glitter to the cupcake which is a little hard to see in the picture.

And does it count that I wrapped another gift in 12x12 scrapbook paper?

5 Day Challenge - Day 2

Todays project for the 5 day challenge is pretty simple, but at least it is something. I had a late start to the day and needed to grocery shop before I did anything. Then it was lunch time and hubby and I watched a movie. My daughter had her bathing suit on at 6 am this morning and wanted to go to the pool today so we went in the late afternoon and then it was time to cook dinner. So I was lucky to even get to this today.

This is a picture from the end of last school year. The apple is a cricut cut out with the teachers name and year done in letter stickers. I printed "kindergarten" on white paper and put it behind a green slide and added a small apple on a pop dot.

5 Day Challenge - Day 1

It's late in the evening, but I finished my project for day 1 of the 5 day challenge. I made some treat boxes for my daughter to take to school on Tuesday for her birthday. This is the first time I have done this little triangle box. Because I had to do so many and they are for 1st graders I figured I would keep them very simple. They are filled with Hershey Kisses.

I used white cardstock and some colored cardstock from the bold brights SU family along with matching SU ink. The cupcake image is from the Michaels clear $1 stamp sets. I have tons of these and this is the first time I have used one. The scallop circle is an SU punch and the star background stamp I used I think is now a retired SU set.

5 Day Challenge

I need to find a way to get back in my crafting room and really enjoy myself. I was inspired by Dawn's 5 day challenge and I feel I might just get some of my mojo back.

So tomorrow will be day one. I have no idea what I am going to make (card, scrapbook page, alter something..... who knows), but I am going to make something!

Party Time!!

My daughters 6th birthday is coming up and we are having a bowling party at the bowling ally. These are the invitations I made for the kids. (I 'whited out' some of the details, hence the odd blank spots).

I found a clip art picture online of a pin and did some adjusting to the size in a print shop program. The invites are the size of a business envelope. Then I typed the information over the resized clip art picture and deleted the clip art before printing on cardstock. Next I printed the clip art picture and cut it out to make a template to trace over the text I had printed. I had to do it this way because the clip art was not just an outline picture. It had weird shading and the red strips on it and I wanted them to print solid white on the CS. I used a marker for the red rings and then glued the pins on black paper and trimmed around the pin.

I printed some envelopes from the computer as well with a cupcake next to Camerons return address and a some colorful pins and bowling ball in one of the corners. I was pleased with the end results of these and can't wait for party day!!

Last weekend I had gone to Michaels to browse and came across some halloween items. I saw the little take out boxes first and saw a standard Michaels price sign that said 1 (and then the cent sign). I don't think I have ever seen price sign at Michaels that had the cent sign on it. They had thanks giving boxes that were exactly the same only with turkeys on them and they were 1.00 each. So I thought the penny price was odd. Anyhow, I checked the bar code numbers to make sure the ones on the boxes matched the ones on the sign and sure enough they did. Then I saw the paper bags which had a sign, but it looked as though someone ripped the price part from the sign.

So I grabbed all the penny boxes and all the white paper bags and headed to the register. I asked the lady if she could tell me how much the bags were. They rang up a penny. She asked me if I got them from the clearance section and I said no, the halloween stuff. So then she rang up the boxes and they too were a penny. She called for a manager and told her they were ringing up a penny. The manager said, "we can't sell something for a penny". I told her there was no price on the bags, but there IS a penny price on the boxes. So after some investigating by the manager and another employee, the manager said to give them to me for that price and then they are pulling them off the shelf. I don't know what I am going to do with them, but for a penny how could I pass it up?

Thanks for the comments and emails in regards to post the other day. I appreciate the kind thoughts.

I have done a little playing in my craft room and hope to continue with it this weekend. I have to make invitations for my daughters birthday party and I am really excited to do that. Maybe that will keep my energy and ambition up to get some more scrapbook pages done. I need to start thinking about Christmas cards as well.

I also hope to get around to viewing blogs this weekend. I didn't get to that last weekend as I hoped.

I made this card using a 3D cow sticker and chick from Sandylion Essentials. I cut the sun, sign, grass and balloons using various cricut cartridges. I covered the balloons in Stickles and used embroidery thread for the strings. I sponged Bashful Blue for the sky using a circle scallop punch for a template to make the clouds.

Quick Projects

In an attempt to get myself back into some paper crafting, I grabbed some scrap paper and tried my hand at these 2 projects.

This little candy purse is real quick and easy to do. You fill it with small candies (this one has Skittles). The ribbon on this looks blue on my screen, but it is certainly celery green from SU.

This next little bit of a project it a paper strawberry box. I followed a template to cut the strawberry and the leaf. You could fit one or two Hershey kisses in this one. If I were going to make them to give to someone I would make the template a little bigger and fill them with more candies. The box is closed using the ribbon and then threaded through the leaf and tied off.
I used paper and ribbon from a stash of scraps I had.

Although the little voice in my head tells me to go in my craft room and DO SOMETHING, my heart has just not been in it. My heart has not been up to a lot of things these past several months. It is a very frustrating feeling for those of you who have never experienced such a battle within yourself. For those who have had such experience, I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about.

I am really going to try and get something made this weekend. I have been wanting to do a candy purse and some more layouts. We will see what happens. No matter what I will get around to blog visiting by the end of the weekend. I am way behind on seeing all the goodies that I am sure you all have been busy making!

New Stamp Shelves

A while back I had posted about this craigslist find:

It is a book display case that I got for $7.00. I finally got around to doing something with it this past weekend. I went to Home Depot and bought 3 foot by 3 inch pieces of wood and some L brackets. The wood is attached with the L brackets behind the wooden dowels that were already on the shelf unit so you can't really see them in the picture. So I added 4 more shelves to the unit which are holding my stamps. The other shelves hod ink pads, embossing powder, glitter etc..

I keep all my seasonal stamps on the original shelves that I had made for all my Non SU stamps. Here is a picture of the top half of the wall with those shelves.

Mini Paint Can

This is a mini clear paint can I found at AC Moore. It was part of my nieces birthday gift. I am not real happy with how I decorated, but still think it is cute. It is a scrap piece of colored striped paper that is on the inside of the can. I used letter stickers for the name put on the outside. The flags at the top are a border sticker, also on the outside. And I wrapped the red ribbon around the outside and fixed it with double sided tape. I added 2 small flower charms to the handle. A bazzill white flower is attached to the lid with a self sticking red button in the center.

Oh and I filled it with bubble gum balls.

Kindergarten Treats

Thursday was the last day of school for my little kindergartner. I can not believe in a few short months she will be in first grade. Where has the time gone?? Anyhow, I have been busy since last weekend making up a treat bag for the kindy graduates.

These are 2x2 cards that are sealed in little clear envelopes that I posted about a while back. The stamp is a dollar stamp from Michael's. I used colored pens to outline the flower and trace the sentiment. The flash kind of drowns out the colors.

I saw these last year on a message board and had saved a pic of them to my computer. I had a different idea in mind, but was unable to find little blue grad cap stickers so I needed to come up with something else. These actually look so much cuter in person.

It is a Hershey chocolate nugget with a 1x3" blue strip of card stock wrapped around it. The squares were cut with my paper cutter because I didn't have the right size square punch. I can't recall off hand the size I cut them. I cut 2 and glued them together to make it a little more sturdier.

The tassels were the time consuming part as I made each one using embroidery floss. I tied it around a mini brad and attached it to the square. I then hot glued the square to the top of the nugget just to make sure it stuck good.

I put them in little zip lock type bags that you can get from Wal-Mart cheap and added a bag topper. I printed the text on my computer and then stamped and colored the little cap at the top.

Next are some friendship seeds. This is a template that folds up like a flower seed packet. I can not remember where the template came from, but I have several that say different things (pumpkin seeds, snowman seeds etc.). I had downloaded them from somewhere a while back.

The elephant is a stamped image from a SU valentine set (the name escapes me right now). There was some text on the template at the bottom where the elephants feet are so I had to do some altering of the seed packet image so that the stamped image would fit. I colored it with chalks.

I put a handful of orange tic tacs in a little zip baggie and put inside the envelope. I think these came out super cute!

This purple container is a kids plastic snack cup with lid that I bought 6 for $1 at the dollar store. I filled them with Whooper candies. I used my cricut (George and basic shapes cart) to cut a blue circle for the top of the lid and used a fine black pen to add a little border. The sun was cut with the cricut also (doodlecharms cart I think) and I outlined it. I printed the words on clear mini labels from my computer.

All of these were packed up in a clear cello bag and tied with some blue curly ribbon.

This was a little gift for the teacher. The class took up a collection for one gift, but I wanted to make a little something. This is another idea found on a message board. I stamped images from a retired SU set with white craft ink onto black cardstock. I stamped the letters of her name with some foam alpha stamps and my SU inks and matted them with matching SU cardstock. I found the red picture frame at the dollar store.

New Sizes

I finally got a chance to go back to the new Michael's store today and spent about an hour walking around. I have a little extra spending money and a 50% off coupon and I could find nothing that I really just had to have. It always happens like that. If I was broke with no coupon I would have found plenty I things I wanted.

Anyhow, I went down one last aisle and made an interesting find. Clear envelopes in about 8 different sizes ranging from 2x2 to 12x12. I love to put my cards in the clear envies that Stampin up sells and I have been wanting to try different size cards, but didn't know what kind of envie to put them in. So I chose a 3 5/16"X5 1/8" envie and a 5 7/8"X4 1/2" envie. Here are the cards I made tonight to fit those sizes.

All the envelopes are 2.99 a pack no matter what size you get. The difference is in the number of envelopes in each pack. The smaller envies I got had 50 to a pack and the larger size had 35 in a pack. I have a 20% off entire purchase coupon that I think I am going to go back and use to get a few more different sizes.

Tilda "So Grateful" Card

I picked up an unused Tilda stamp on ebay a couple weeks ago for a great price and finally got around to using it today. I have a coordinating green colored flower that I might put at the top left corner, but I am not sure yet. It looks like something is missing there.

Photo Pencils

This is a very cheap, quick and easy project. Make 3 copies on regular copy paper of a 5x6 photo. Cut each photo into 1.25" strips so that you end up with 4 stips per photo and 3 exact copies of each strip. Using a glue stick, glue the first 3 copied strips (they will all be the same part of the photo) onto the first 3 pencils. Glue the next three copies to the next 3 pencils and so on. Then put the pencils together and roll them until the picture lines up. I didn't do it to mine, but I would coat them with mod podge.

I did do a little boo boo on mine. I wrapped one of the pencils in the opposite direction that I had been rolling them and it makes it look like part of the photo is missing on the 7th pencil. Oops. I might go back and fix it, but for now I just wanted to try it out and see if it was as easy as it looked, and it is.

Easter Treats

I made these little baskets for the ladies at work and my daughters teacher. The baskets are made from 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 cardstock. The handle is 1/4 x 7. I used SU Yo Yo Yellow, Only Orange, Pixie Pink, Lovely Lilac. I added the white dots with a gel pen. The scallop punch is from SU and the circle that I stamped is a 1 1/4" circle I cut with my cricut. The bunny stamp is from inky antics and the little duck is a dollar stamp from Michaels. I added some green grass and filled them with chocolate eggs.

I made these for my daughters kindy class. Very simply done. The bunny is a cricut cut, the happy Easter is a dollar stamp from ACM.

Still Creating

I haven't posted in a while, but I have still been creating. I was able to get 3 more layouts done (no pictures right now) and 2 very quick cards. If I can get the house cleaned up and the grocery shopping done early tomorrow I hope to get back in my scrap room.

I don't know why this card looks slanted in the picture. It must have been the angle I took the picture.

Getting Organized

2 weeks ago I needed some better organization in my scrap room so I spent one weekend doing that. Here are some new elements I added for better storage/organization:

I needed some more storage area within reach of my work space, that didn't take up room on my table. So I bought these really cheap wooden CD crates from ACM, painted them and made shelves out of them.

I bought clear plastic containers at HL and took the lids off. They hold all my colored pencils nicely.

I bought a slightly bigger plastic container, put it on its side and put my SU markers in it. I used the lid from that container to hold my blending stumps (used for coloring with gamsol/mineral spirits). And a little tid bit about the plastic bottle on the end. If you do the magic colored pencil technique (coloring with pencils and blending with odorless mineral spirits) I highly recommend getting one of these bottles to hold your mineral spirits. It is a nail polish remover bottle that you see used at nail salons. You push the cap down and a little mineral spirits will puddle on the top to dip your blending stump in. After a few minutes of not using it the mineral spirits will drain back into the bottle. I have been using it for a while now and it is very handy.

I bought these buckets 3 for $1.00 at the dollar store. I stamped on them with stazon and mini alpha stamps. I plan to spruce them up a bit with ribbon and/or rub ons. They basically hold little metal embellishments. I have 8 on a shelf.

I moved my cricut machine to my other table and put up a wood shelf over the top that will hold my cricut carts and other tools. I thought it was the perfect spot to hang my little bug I made with the cricut machine.

This is how I have my smaller width ribbon stored. Each color is rolled up and put in the mini cropper hopper embellishment boxes and a little tail of the ribbon hangs out. The little boxes are stored in a cropper hopper embellishment case. Well I have wider ribbon that was just thrown in a box getting tangled that needed some better space.
So I cut come pieces of chip board to fit in this canvas pop up box that I got at the Dollar store and wrapped the ribbon around the chip board. I have a few more rolls but I got bored of wrapping the ribbon after spending 10 minutes untangling it all. The rolled ribbon on the right is all self adhesive ribbon on spools and stacked in a plastic basket (again from the dollar store).

Window Card

This is the one card I managed to do this past weekend. I saw it on someone's blog and if I can remember who I will post their name (sorry).

I cut a window out of whisper white and gable green cardstock. Then I stamped a window sheet using black StazOn and put it inbetween the white and green CS so that you could see the image through the window. Then I stamped the image again on whisper white and placed that on the inside of the card, lining it up with the image on the window sheet and then colored the image that I stamped on the white CS. I framed the window on the outside with basic black.Clear as mud?

It was a little tricky to take a picture of when it is closed. The image is crisp and clear if the card is shut right.

I have been busy playing in my scraproom this weekend. I have fallen behind on layouts over the past year and half and I am on a mission to get caught back up. Sunday I spent the entire day scrapping away. I had today off, but my daughter had school so I was planning on spending all day locked up in my room again, but I needed to make a trip to a couple of the craft stores. I needed a new cricut cutting mat, new blade and cutting mat for my cutterpede and a couple other extras. Then it was nearly time for lunch so I went to Chappy's with hubby and by the time I got back I had 2 hours to work.

I did 16 and a half layouts over the course of 2 days and I stamped a card! I feel like I am on a roll and would love another day or two off work so I can scrap at home in peace. LOL! I guess I will just have to spend a little bit of time each night this week working on something and hopefully my creative juices will keep flowing through the weekend and I can get more layouts done!

I have missed working on scrapbook layouts and it feels great to be getting caught up again! Here are some of the ones I did. I put them up on the fridge to take pictures so the quality isn't the greatest.

I am Melissia. I became a Stampin Up demo a little over a year ago and God Bless my 3 great friends for keeping me in business. These are the Valentines Day cards I made for the kids in my daughters class. I made them like a book and stuck laffy taffy candy on the inside. I wrapped a red paper band around the card and attached a stamped paper to the band so the kids can slide it off to open the card. The image is from SU's Happy Heart Day set. I colored them with colored pencils and gamsol.

Little Gifts (No SU)

For the ladies at work and Cameron's teacher I put mint chocolate bells inside of a wire whisk and wrapped it in a cello bag. The tag says "We Whisk You A Merry Christmas". I guess there is a little SU on this. I stamped the bird from It's Snow Time on the tag.

For the kids in Cam's class I made Rudolph's red-nose repair kits. The poem says
Rudolph guides ol' Santa's sleigh,
His nose glows red to guide the way.
But if it flickers on Christmas night,
Just use one of these replacement lights.

Rudolph was made with the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge. The 'noses' inside are sour cherry balls.

Santa Containers

I have a stash of Crystal Light containers in my "to be altered some day" closet. I pulled them out Saturday to make these for my niece and nephew. I filled them with candy and pens/pencils.

No stamping involved for this project.

These are the larger CL containers (they hold 6 tubs of CL I think).

The red paper to go around it was cute 6 x 9.

The white strip down the front is cut 1.5 x 6.

The belt is 1 x 9.

The black buttons are 1 inch circle punch.

The buckle is 1 3/8" square punch with a 1 inch center punch.

The red circle for the lid is a 2 inch circle punch.

I used a little White boa I found in the craft store for the trim on the bottom. The adhesive I used was the Scotch Tacky Glue (love that stuff!). I used stickers for the names on the lid.

You can't tell from photo, but the snow on the ground is Aleen's dimensional craft paint. I used various off brand cardstock because I waited too long to decide what I was doing to order SU paper for it. Snowflake brad and some hemp complete the card.

Organizer

Another project made at the demo meeting Friday night. These Organizers are so neat and easy to make and can be used for so many different events and occasions. This one is a Christmas organizer.
This is the organizer front, all folded up and ties with ribbon. The stamps used to decorate the pieces are from the Holiday Tag Team set and the Type alphabet set. The DSP is Dots and Dashes. Also used on the project were brads, ribbon, designer label punch, oval punch, and white gel pen.
The inside. There are 4 pockets, plus an extra pocket on the first panel made with cardstock. The second panel holds 3 graduated size cards that pull out of the pocket. The 3rd panel pocket holds 2 pieces of cardstock to list food and gifts on. The last pocket has an envelope in the pocket for receipts or whatever you want it to hold.
The back is just decorated with DSP.

Cute & Simple

This is a card we made at the demo meeting. The pattern paper is SU Cerise DSP, basic black for the buckle punched with 2 sizes of square punches, and a strip of real red for the belt. The base of the card is very vanilla and the greeting is stamped in real red.

Paper Ornaments

We made these at a demo meeting Friday night. This was made with SU Creepy Crawly DSP, but wouldn't they make cute Christmas ornaments using some of the holiday DSP?? You can fancy them up with beads on the ribbon, or add a tassel to the bottom.

While making this project I used the crop a dile for the first time to punch the holes for the ribbon. Oh. My. Goodness. I punched a small hole in all 11 pieces of paper at one time and it was like a hot knife through butter. I totally understand the appeal of this big clunky tool and it is on my wish list now.

I saw a card that Tracy Harp made with this little S'more man on it and just had to make one myself!
Stampin Up Products used were Cardstock: Creamy Carmel, Close To Cocoa, Whisper White, Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue. Ink: White Craft and Creamy Carmel. Stamps: Sincere Salutations. Other: Square Punches, Word Window Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Close To Cocoa, Basic Black, Only Orange markers, finger daubers.

Pattern paper is from DCWV and some random blue gingham ribbon.

Halloween Goodie Bags

These are the Halloween goody bags I have been busy working on for Cameron's kindy class. The Stampin Up products used on this project were the swirly stamp from Bitty Backgrounds which I used on the topper. The Mummy candy bar wrap is Creamy Caramel and Very Vanilla cardstock and the edges inked in Creamy Caramel. Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock were also used along with Basic Black Stamp N Write Marker and black stazon ink. The cello baggies are also from Stampin Up. These are the first time I have used them and I love em!

The stamped image of the trick or treaters is a stamp I bought last year from inky antics. It was colored with prisma colored pencils and blended with gamsol.

The bags contain 2 candy bars, tootsie roll, spider or bat ring, tattoos, pencil and mini notepad.

Paper Pine Cone

These have been all over the Internet among paper crafters. It is a 3 inch Styrofoam ball (I picked up 2 for $1 at Dollar Tree). 4 coordinating sheets of 6x6 paper cut into 1 x 2 inch strips. The paper is folded to make a point and are attached to the pine cone in rows with straight pins. Some sheer ribbon was added to the top for decoration and hanging.

Some Older Cards & Techniques

I have been working on Halloween treat bags this week and I will post pictures when I get them all together. In the mean time here are some older cards I have made. I have many new readers that might like to see them.

This was done using the smackin acetate technique (for the background around the tree). Color acetate with various coordinating colors of markers, mist it with water and press it to light cardstock.

This is the reflections technique. Stamp image on cardstock. Stamp image again on acetate, flip over and turn acetate upside down. Line up the bottom of the trees on the acetate with the bottom of trees on the cardstock and press the acetate. This will make a faint print on the cardstock. Color reflection lightly.

This technique is called polished stone. Lightly soak the bottom of a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Drop one drop of reinker in a couple different colors onto the wet cotton ball with the drops close together. Press cotton ball to glossy cardstock and give a little twist of the cotton ball. Pick up and put back down in another spot and repeat.

This is a card I made for a friends birthday. I cut 2 slits in the front to slide a matching bookmark through. This is the front of the card.

Away, But Working

I know, I know, it has been a week since I have shared anything. I have been busy though working on cards and projects for a workshop I did this past weekend. So now that it is over I can share.

This first card is a double slider card.

When you pull the tab the back card comes out from between the green cardstock and the front card slides out with it from behind the blue cardstock.

SU products used on this card are Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Bayou Blue, Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, and Whisper White. Ink: Wild Wasabi, Bayou Blue, Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava and Old Olive. Stamps: Garden Whimsy and a flower from Simply Said. Other: Stampin Dimensionals, word window punch and the round tab punch.

The next card was CASED from Erika Martin.

Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink, Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana, Whisper White. Ink: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Pixie Pink, Almost Amethyst, Yo Yo Yellow, Mellow Moss. Stamps: Double Line Doodle, Happy Everything. Other: Circle punch, mini silver brads, ribbon.

Magic Color Slider Card is what you call this next one. The image in the window is black and white. When you pull up on the tab the black and white image becomes colored and there is an added image around the heart. A Booing We Will Go

There is no stamping or SU products involved in this project mainly because I was just too lazy this weekend. These are the baskets I put together for the 2 houses I am going to Boo tonight. If you don't know what Booing is then read to the bottom and I will tell you.

I found these cute little felt ghost baskets in the dollar spot at Target. They have various candies and little treats inside (pencils, stickers etc.). The Ghost picture in front is the Boo sign, the other paper has a little poem about what the basket of treats is for and how to continue the game.

So what is Booing? You fill 2 treat baskets (or bags) like I did above, include a picture or cut out of a ghost and include this poem:

This Halloween there’s something new,
This little surprise we call a “BOO!”
Someone left it here
To bring a bit of “ghostly” cheer.
It’s not a fright, it’s not a scare……
It’s just a secret smile to share.

You’ve been “BOO’D!” It’s your turn now

You pick houses in your neighborhood (or wherever) and hang the basket on their door. You do this in secret. They have 2 days to create a treat bag of their own and find neighbors that don't have a Boo sign on their door and place the bags with them. They in turn Boo 2 people and so on. The idea is to watch and see who and how quickly your neighborhood front doors fill up with Boo signs.

I have to admit I am not holding out much hope for this to spread in my neighborhood, but we will see what happens. I am leaving mine at the home of 2 people who I know have young children in hopes they will be more likely to pass it on.

My mom works in a school and she does this by leaving baskets on classroom doors. I think this will be her 3rd year doing it and she hasn't been found out yet. I would like to do it at Cameron's school, but it is impossible to get in the school without being noticed.

I tried to produce something in my scrap room today to show, but the creativeness is just not there today. I was trying to make a candy wrapper for some mini Hershey bars and after the 4th try I gave up. I am going to put together 2 Boo Baskets to give out this weekend so I will have something to show tomorrow.

Today I will give you some documents to save or print out. A lot of people find uses for DMC embroidery floss on their cards and projects. Here is a list of DMC floss numbers that match SU colors.

Halloween Treat

Isn't this the cutest? I saw these floating around blog land and just had to make one. It is wrapped around a small Kit Kat bar.

The Stampin' Up! products I used are Wild Wasabi, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. I inked around the nose with some Wild Wasabi ink to make it stand out a bit.

I used decorative edge scissors to cut the hair. The shapes were cut with the Cricut machine using George & Basic Shapes cartridge. The white ovals are 1". Black circles are 1" on the sign feature. The nose is 2.5" on the sign feature. I used SU Basic Black marker to make his mouth.

These are definitely going in the Halloween treat bags for Cameron's class.

Gettin' Buggy With It

I've been playing with the little bug today - that would be my Cricut machine. This is the card I made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The SU supplies used were pretty in pink card stock and a sentiment from garden whimsy. I brushed a thin coat of crystal effects over the ribbon and sprinkled it with some glitter.

The pattern paper is from DCWV Nana's Kids collection. The ribbon was made using the ampersand from the George & Basic Shapes cartridge with the extras cut off. Letter beads where strung on white wire and glued to the ribbon.

This next project is a little boxy type thing I made for some pumpkin marshmallows. I am not real happy with the final product so this may get revisited.

The SU products used were only orange, basic black and glorious green card stock. I stamped the outside of the card stock with a stamp from basic backgrounds using basic black ink. I scallop punched basic black and used the white gel pen to add dots.

The pumpkin was made with the doodlecharms cartridge.

On the inside I used a square punch for the window and placed the wrapped candy behind it.

This next project doesn't have any SU product on it, but it's too cute not to share. This is a 8x10 canvas that I painted black. Every part of the bug was made using the George & Basic Shapes cartridge as well as the word CRICUT. I pieced him together and glued him to the canvas. I will be hanging him in my scrap room for inspiration to use my Cricut more.

File Folder Book

This is made from a standard letter size manila envelope. It's not quite finished though. I will be adding decorated sheets of cardstock to put in inside the pockets. I was drawing a creative blank as to what I wanted these sheets to look like so I will have to come back to the project.

You can decorate these for Christmas card/gift planners. Label the sheets for the pockets with WHISH LIST, GIFTS, CARDS SENT, CARDS RECEIVED. You can make it like an album and add pictures to it, or do it in journal format and add sheets for family stories, memories etc.. It can hold favorite recipes, put various gift cards in it and give it as a gift. Again, another project with endless possibilities.

Paper Punch Ring

We had a demonstrators meeting recently where we punched and labeled all 36 paper punches currently available through Stampin' Up! I have had a laminater for years and finally decided to put it to use. Using business card size laminating sheets, I ran each punched paper through the machine, hole punched them and stuck them on a ring. Now I have a better visual for my customers when they are interested in a punch from the book.

This also comes in handy when trying to find words or pictures that will fit in a certain punch. You just place the punched card over a stamp in the catalog and see if it will fit. I laminated mine to keep it durable for customers. If you don't have a machine, you can still punch scrap pieces of card stock, or a 4 1/4 x 5 1/5 piece of cardstock and put it in a clear envelope. A rectangle piece of cardstock punched and doubled as a book mark for your catalog works too.

I also participated in a Designer Series Paper buy with my upline. I have a sampling of each piece of DSP that SU sells and I laminated a portion of each one of those as well. Again, it is a good visual for myself and customers. The pictures of the DSP in the catalog do nothing for me. Being able to look at actual samples is much more impressive to me.

Dixie Cup Cuteness

A popular project right now are dressed up little dixie cups. I do not have any Stampin Up designer series paper in my stash right now, so I used what I had. I think these would be fun to make for school partys for the holidays or even as party treats for a childs birthday. Stampin Up has 216 different patterns in their designer series paper collection. 12 of those patterns are available in 16 different colors. So you are sure to find a paper that would match your event. Here is a quick tutorial on how to make them.

Obviously we are going to start with a Dixie Cup. The package didn't say, but I am going to guess this is about a 9 oz cup. You can really use any size. You will need 2 cups.

Start by rolling back the lip of just one of the cups. This is going to become your pattern piece.

Then cut that lip off. This is so the cover paper will fit nicely under the lip of the cup.

Flip your pattern cup upside down and cut out the bottom of the cup.

Carefully peel the seem apart down the side of the cup so that you can open it up flat.

Trace your cup pattern on the backside of the paper you want to cover the cup with.

Cut the tracing out, use a good adhesive to attach it to the second cup. Make sure you have a good seal on your seam, but also use adhesive around the cup so that the paper won't slide off.

Decorate and fill as you wish. I used a piece of paper for the handle and attached it with gold brads to the side of the cup. I ran some of the pattern paper through my crimper as well and cut it into strips for filler in the cup.

Round Tab Punch Trick

I have seen this floating around the net and thought it was a great discovery!

Start with the round tab punch and about a 3x3 piece of cardstock.

Punch the cardstock once.

Turn your cardstock so your punch is like so.

Slide your cardstock back into the punch, center your first punch and punch again.

There's your perfect circle.

It takes a little practice to line up the punch. It might help you to punch out 2 tabs and stack them on top of each other so you can see where the 2 need to line up.

It's More Than A Petal

The Pick A Peal set has become one of my all time fave sets from the the catty. It is so much more than a set of flower petals. Take a look at all the things you can make with this glorious set.

Great Idea For The Coming Cold Season

This is a travel size tissue holder made up to look like....... can you guess? A Campbell's soup label of course. Isn't it the cutest! How fabulous would it be to decorate a paint can to look like the soup label and fill it with a tissue pack, a card, and a pop top can all decorated to match? Then of course slip some packets of soup inside and anything else that would cheer up a friend who has come down with a case of the icky's. What a great gift idea, eh??

Vertical Page Holder

Over the weekend I came across a scrappers blog that was showcasing this really cool scrapbook page hanger. After clicking through a few links I found the source of these nifty little contraptions. Unfortunately I was not as impressed with the $16.00 price tag on them not to mention the arm and leg those online stores usually charge for shipping.

So being that hubby is a builder by profession, I showed him a picture and asked him if he though I could build one myself. 5 seconds later we were in the car on our way to Home Depot for some wood, screws and a fancy drill bit.

Hubby made the first one and I was so thrilled with it that he showed me how to cut all the wood and drill all the pieces myself so that I could make as many as I wanted. I was using the hacksaw and power tools and everything, it was great!

So here is what we made. Doesn't look all that exciting yet, right?

This is what the final product looks like

It holds a 6x6 page protector using 2 1 inch binder rings. The 1 inch is all I had, but I think 1 1/2 inch would work better. It will hold several page protectors so it can be used as an album that people can flip through. Or for a calendar like I am using this one for. Or you could just display one layout at a time. I decorated mine by painting the edges of the wood and then adhering paper to the top of the base and sides of the posts using modge podge. I also attached paper to the dowel using modge podge as well.

Since I know how to make these on my own, I will be making them to sell to anyone who would like one to decorate them self. They will be $10.00 each and come in plain wood format (like the first picture shown above). It will include the 4 screws for the posts and (2) 1 1/2" binder rings, page protectors are not included. All the pieces do come apart making it easy to decorate however you want. You just need a screwdriver.

Also, they come with plain rectangle bases like you see in the first picture. The one I decorated has a decorative edge. If you wish to have the decorative edge it will be $1.00 more. Here is a close up of the decorative edge.

A Few Non Su Cards

I needed a couple thank you cards and a baby card, but I wasn't feeling super crafty today. I decided to use some paper from my DCWV kids pack and whip some up real quick. I love the glitter on these papers. It might be hard to see in the picture.

This is one of the projects I demonstrated last weekend at workshop.

Stamps: Double Line Doodles
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery Print DS paper
Ink: Wild Wasabi
Other: Small zipper baggie, silver eyelet, scallop punch, Hershey Kisses

This is a treat box made from a trancparancy. It is similar to a 2,4,6,8 box with a little modification to the top and bottom to make lids.

Stamps: Very Punny, Pick A Petal

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Other: Transparency, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Ribbon, Hole Punch, Hershey Kisses

These are just bag toppers made with cardstock. They are folded over medium size zip lock baggies that are holding ershey Kisses. I fastened them to the bag using 2 small brads.
